Lady Evil is more than your average fuzz, this pedal features a 100% original circuit from Scotty Smith, crafted with 30 years of knowledge and experience in the design of fuzz pedals.  Named for Scotty’s first ex-wife (and probably the second, third, fourth and any future wives not yet included in this list), it is his answer to a world overflowing with stale repetition and cloning.  The Lady Evil uses four silicon transistors to deliver the fuzz tone you have been craving.  From classic fuzz to circuit-bending insanity, the versatility of fuzz tone in the Lady Evil is unmatched in today’s pedal world.  Each control is intuitive, and has a wide range of operation, ensuring that you find your sound, and most of all that your experience is unique and inspiring. 

The unique control layout of the Lady Evil Fuzz pedal includes Swell, Filter, Sustain and Attack knobs. “Swell” lets you control the overall output volume. “Filter” – This is where all the magic happens. The entire circuit runs through this filter section and as you rotate it clockwise you can dial in sounds from circuit-bent, to modern, to a vintage feel and tone.  Filter is an EQ control that adds gain as well as shapes your tone from low to high, and is completely interactive with Sustain and Attack controls. “Sustain” is a bias control that allows you to turn on or off a transistor stage before the filter circuit.  You can dial in everything from a starved signal to a full range of clearer gain tones, and everything in between. Finally, “Attack” controls the amount of fuzz tone signal going into the sustain stage.
